The World Data System (WDS) is the interdisciplinary body of the International Science Council, whose mission is to is to support the ISC’s vision by promoting long-term stewardship of, and universal and equitable access to, quality-assured scientific data and data services, products, and information across all disciplines in the Natural and Social Sciences, and the Humanities. This site is being under preparation by the imprecation group of the Japanese WDS National Committee of the Science Council of Japan to prepare the WDS Asia-Oceania (A&O) Network Website. The committee has organized WDS-led activities to stimulate collaboration on data in A&O area, including a series of WDS conferences on this issue (details). To keep the momentum of our mission, we decided to create a platform to share information about our activity among WDS-oriented data repositories and data scientists in the A&O area. Since the principal purpose of this site is to check the contents mainly by related people of the Network, the contents are subjects of revision or correction.
