International Symposium on Data Science 2023-Building an Open Data Collaborative Network in the Asia-Oceania Area
General Concept
The WDS Community of Japan plans this event to continue its ongoing efforts to establish a WDS-led community in the Asia-Oceania area through collaboration with A&O countries. The principal objective of the event is to offer the opportunity to exchange information on the current status of Open Science (Data)-oriented activities in the A&O area and to find the strategy to establish a collaborative network to support the endeavor of WDS in the area. This event will be held in the autumn of 2023 as a form of the joint symposium with the “International Symposium of Data Science (DSWS-2023)” being promoted by the Joint Support-Center for Data Science Research (ROIS-DS) of Japan, as a continuation of the previous WDS-led symposium “Global Collaborations on Data beyond Disciplines” held in September 2020.
