List of former WDC data repositories in Japan

WDC for Airglow
Current name: WDC for Airglow
Host Organization: National Astronomical Observatory of Japan
Data Holdings: Zenith intensities of airglow measured at various observatories in Japan. The observing wavelengths are 5577 Å and 6300 Å lines of oxygen, sodium D-line (5890-96 Å), reference continua such as 5200-5300 Å, and OH molecular bands.  Digital data (not only from Japan but from all over the world) in the period of International Geophysical Year (IGY, 1957-58), International Geophysical Cooperation (IGC, 1959), and International Quiet Sun Year (IQSY, 1964-65) are available at NOAA/NGDC

WDC for Scientific Satellites
Current Name: Data ARchives and Transmission System (DARTS)
Host Institution: Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Data Holdings: The DARTS primarily archives high-level data products obtained by JAXA's space science missions in astrophysics (X-rays, radio, infrared), solar physics, solar-terrestrial physics, lunar and planetary science, as well as microgravity science data obtained by International Space Station. In addition, we archive related space science data products obtained by other domestic or foreign institutes and provide data services to facilitate the use of these data.
